Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chesapeake

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Collette had helped me when I made reservations and she was working the breakfast area when we stayed. She was so friendly(so we're the other staff we encountered) but where most hotels stop making food before the time for breakfast to end she kept fresh food available and made sure everyone was able to have breakfast. The only issues we had was the room. There were some kind of crumbs on the floor they looked like someone had bread or biscuit and dropped larger crumbs that weren't vacuumed up and a some hair on the floor that looked as if an animal was also in the room. Other than just a little more attention to running the vacuum the room and bathroom were nice. Outside the room in general the bed wasn't as soft as other hotels, was kind of hard and it kind of bothered my hips until I found a comfortable position. We will likely stay again but would like to see the floors a little cleaner and maybe newer updated mattresses.

Nice roomy shower, solid sliding glass doors & hot water instantly available. Nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The built-in USB charging is fast. My only suggestion would be a little more desk space away from the TV would have been nice. Traffic was a bit tough getting off interstate 64 but that's not their fault.

The hotel was solid, I slept in king size bed very comfortable room was clean. Front desk staff checking in out exstreamly nice.

This is a nice property to stay at with wonderful staff who really make you feel at home. Plenty of great places to eat within a 5 minute drive. My only complaints are the strong stench of ammonia in my room, and the narrow front entrance.

I have to get my receptionist’s (yes mine, cause she took good care of me) name, Wonderful Woman!! I’m on the back side with the highway which isn’t a problem for me but you will hear the traffic all night. The rooms are clean. I’m giving 4 stars cause there is room for improvement. Colette — wonderful front office manager. She would be the reason I would come back here. I know I would be taken care of.

Very pleased and I'm picky. Plenty of pillows and hot water. Very, very clean. The sheets smell like bleach, so bring your own if that bothers you. Quiet. Honestly the friendliest staff ever. They even had gluten free options.

We had another wonderful stay at Fairfield in Chesapeake. The room was comfortable and breakfast had many great options. Everyone was kind and generous, especially Collette, who helped us on multiple occasions.

The front desk attendant Coke was so friendly and welcoming! The room(king suite) was very spacious and clean,the bathroom water got nice and hot,the ac worked really well also! I've seen a lot of reviews about the ac being loud and it was on the older side so keep that in mind maybe if you're a light sleeper,I enjoyed the white noise personally. Be mindful the hotel is near the interstate so you can hear car noise but again,it's really no biggie unless you need that perfect silence to sleep(then you probably already use ear plugs or headphones to sleep). I was able to connect my Netflix account to the TV and watch some shows,just a great stay. Definitely will be back!!
